August 2023 produced more epic waves with consistent swells and guests weren’t disappointed at at surfing Tland reef at Nemberala, Sako Namor, Ndana Island and even conditions at Boa were favorable some days. The ever most popular sail trips to Ndana exclusive to Lualemba Bungalow guests with a few waves, a wander around the beautiful landscape coast and enjoyable snorkel inside the lagoon with a sail back to Nemberala. Lualemba Bungalows are looking great with constant maintenance and improvements. The Gardens and insane green grass surrounding the bungalows is like nothing else in Rote providing shade and eliminating dust from the trade winds that often stronger than other months of the year.

Nemberala beach is 1.1 kilometers from the surf.

Late afternoon is the best time to hang out at Nemberala beach when it is not too hot and watch the sunset.

Lualemba Bungalows is an Eco environmentally friendly habitat just a short walk from the beach.

Natural chemical free swimming pool that mimics a waterhole is the most refreshing spot to take a dip to cool off from the tropical sun. The lovely sound of flowing water all day from the pools waterfall. Constantly shaded from the sun you can cool off anytime of the day and kids are safe from being sunburnt. Lualemba Bungalows has a well established permaculture environment that has been growing way before most other accommodations were nothing more than a dust bowl on the beach. We see dirt we plant something in it that’s why we can boast the greenest grass on Rote island and trees that provide shade around Lualemba bungalows grounds making the coolest place to hang out on Rote Island. At least 50 % of the morning fruit salad guests endure for breakfast comes from the fruit trees growing around Lualemba Bungalows. Tropical plants add beauty making a paradise within an island paradise. This young family enjoyed an experience that they will remember for a long time. Hanging out at Ndana island on the pink sandy beach playing on the stand up paddle board and snorkelling safe inside the lagoon. Te Aila offers shade for guests and safe sitting areas for the journey. The sail back to Nemberala is a highlight in itself.

August was pumping with back to back swells weekly.

It was on during August with Tland surf break producing some excellent waves pretty much everyday of the month. If you were a guest at Lualemba Bungalows here in Nemberala to surf you would of been fully stoked. Some of the biggest swells of the season rolled in through August and as always Tland was handling it in fine form.
